ANALYTICS

Why do we create our own analytics?

One of our principles is the validity of statements. Analytics is one way to justify solutions to current problems, including gathering information, studying public demand, and analysis.

Answers to questions:

In short, this is the rationale. We want the proposal for a mechanism for the gradual replacement of military personnel to be based on realistic data on current military and civilian demand, confirmed by scientific research on the “impact of combat operations” on the body and the experience of other countries.

We mainly use: comparison, analysis, forecasting, analogies, pattern recognition, visualization through infographics, etc.

We collect information mainly from open sources: think tanks, research agencies, scientific papers, official statistics, etc. We also take into account research from other organizations that have proven themselves to be reliable sources of information.

Usually, a separate study is conducted with a specific purpose—to identify and specify a particular problem. Most often, the study reveals a set of problems, so we isolate everything related to our topic, perform a cross-sectional/comparative analysis with other similar studies, and ultimately specify the problem based on the results of the primary source.

Under each article with analytics, we publish links to all sources used. We recommend studying not only our analytics, but also the original sources.

Yes, of course! Use and share, but please add a link to our website or social media pages.

OPEN BORDER AND WAR

Permission to travel abroad for 18-24 year olds: strategic mistake or advantage?
What threats did the Cabinet of Ministers and the Parlament “forget” when they opened the border in one direction but “closed” it in the other? To what extent has our state strategically adapted to current realities or to the highly probable prospect of a protracted war, especially given the permission for conscripts to travel abroad?

With this perspective in mind, let us consider:

1) Changes to the rules of departure, risks for the country, and possible solutions
2) Scandinavian countries and their example of “preparation” for a Russian attack
3) The value of freedom and the efforts made
4) The country’s development strategy as a nation

MOBILIZATION RESERVE

Under what conditions could Ukraine’s reserve forces potentially number around 1 million men, with 475,000 of them ready to serve directly in combat positions? And can we call them the “second wave of volunteers”?

The forecast was formed as follows:
1) determining the willingness to serve in general and in combat positions,

2) determining the general reasons for unwillingness to serve,
3) determining the specific reasons in the main direction,
4) mathematical modeling of the total number of men of mobilization age,
5) projection of the obtained percentages on the result of mathematical modeling.

THE ARMIES OF ISRAEL & UKRAINE

Israel’s experience and reforms needed by the Ukrainian army, comparative analysis and proposals for legislative changes. In the context of a war of attrition, let us consider the example of the organization of the Defense Forces in a country that has successful experience and conditions similar to our realities. We are talking about Israel, which is permanently at war on its territory. What are the characteristics and specifics of the Israeli army?

Comparative analysis and infographics:
1) Conditions of service
2) Training and selection for positions in the army
3) Punishment for evading service
4) The interconnection between the economy, the army, and education
5) An example of the effectiveness of such an army
